As the art director and graphic designer, I was responsible for the packaging design of a new wine offering from Cape Classics, sourced from the commune of Sancerre in the Loire Valley. The brand was introduced as two varietals, a Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir-based Rosé, priced at $27.99 and $29.99.
Cape Classics wanted the label to be inspired by the land itself from where the wine is produced. Translated as “King of Stones,” the name Le Roi des Pierres pays homage to the Loire Valley’s royal history and unique terroir.
